Caramel Apple Salad

1/2 Cup (1 stick) margarine or butter
1 Cup confectioner's sugar
3 apples, diced, with peels left on
1 Small can of drained crushed pineapple
3 snickers bars (chopped into small pieces)
16 ounces frozen whipped topping

In a medium saucepan, melt the margarine and stir in the sugar. Mix well and add the pineapple. Cool. In a bowl, mix the candy bars and apples together. Add the cooled pineapple mixture and fold in the whipped topping. chill for 2 hours.
